When I twisted my knee and couldn't walk at all I didn't even get a 5 minute demo. I got no demo and no crutches! I had to borrow crutches from someone and then start hobbling around on them. It's a good thing I could still hop then. Guest guest Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 Our cat used to do that (wetting the bed of the one of us who was away from home), but we found that she didn't do that if some used clothing (say a used t-shirt) belonging to the "missing" person was present in that persons bed... They are strange creatures, indeed...And they are not necessarily very considerate of people just out of surgery either... The day after my first knee surgery our oldest cat (sadly no longer alive) climbed up on a book shelf, then jumped from there down on my "bad" knee... I think my I WILL KILL YOU!!!!! startled her a bit though, I usually never yell at the cats... In any case she didn't try that "trick" again... It was nothing for there to be 40 stray cats over for dinner. My mother hated cats but I inherited my dad's love of kitties. We have 6 cats in our household but only one is really mine, the others belong to the grandchild in this household. My cat is 13 year old Susie. Oreo must be watched though. He can be sweet and then out of no where, start " playfully " scratching or biting. It hurts though. He's still young, just about 5 months old. I was making lunch for my husband at the kitchen counter. He kept squaking at me. He was on the counter behind me. He decided he didn't like being ignored. He leapt an landed on my back, digging in his claws. Owwwww! He was stuck to me. I got him off and put him on the floor. Then he climbed my bare legs, like a tree. He was climbing me, and as he got to my jammie shorts pantleg, he clung to them. That caused my loose jammie shorts to fall down around my ankles. LMHO.
