It came labeled Hysdrocortisone USP from West-Ward Pharmaceuticals, Eatontown, NJ Lynda (in the UK) myrxforless Has anyone ordered othr medications besides Armour from myrxforless? It looks like I have an UTI and I don't want to go to the Dr. The last time I had one (diagnosed in the hospital after the car accident) they had me take amoxicillan and it cleared up. I'm like why not just order some. I am eating yogurt, drinking cranberry juice seeing if that clears it up but if not I may just get some amoxicillan. Guest guest Posted March 30, 2004 Report Share Posted March 30, 2004 Hi Louise, I don't know about you but for my one experience with a UTI I wanted it gone ASAP.. Just call intot the Doctors office and let them know that you have a UTI again and you need the subscription of " X " drug reordered for you. My last Doctor was willing to do this for me, but I have heard that some won't, without an office visit. Now, what I am about to say if from knowledge from my own experience and if you and others don't want to use it, thats Okay with me... Also, I am not a Doctor or a pharmacist...I just had to live without health insurance for about 10 years and learned where to get stuff... What a lot of people don't know is that you can get bottles of antibiotics from the aquarium, fish and pond store and animal supply stores(feed stores) far faster than from mail order companies. In most cases, cheaper than if you had to pay full price at the pharmacy. You will need to remember what your medicine was and the last dosage was ie how many mgs, 4 times a day or 2 times a day or what ever the Doctor prescribed the last time you went through this. The difference, that I found, in what you buy at these stores and what you get at the pharmacy is the " cleanliness " of the pills/capsules...The ones you find in the pet supply line " may " have been touched " by human hands or the capsule color is off or the batch did not quite meet the manufacturing label for the dosage level needed for human consumption ie the potency level is off,etc. Depending upon the store, you would find antibiotics in the fish section for treating various diseases of fish. When I got bottles of antibiotics for my " animals " I would just buy the sealed bottle of 100 from the pond store or the feed store. This usually covers a 7 day stretch of treatment... You might also be able to buy it in a bottle of 1000 but most times this does not get used up before the expiration date. I wish you a fast recovery...UTI are not easy to live with... No pain, no increase in frequency, no itching etc. The last time I was diagnosed with it was after the car accident in the hospital so I can't go that route. (Colo, at that time, was a no fault insurance state so my insurance company is paying all my medical bills and they paid for the amoxiciallan.)
