Guest guest
We are looking at other plans for handling inclement weather situations for OP clinics. We have chosen to cancel if the roads are not in good driving conditions and if our local school district closes (one of the last to do so in our area). We adjust the rest of the week as able to get the POC met etc. But it seems to me a patient safety issue if they are impaired already that it would not be wise to come out on ice. How do those of you in private practices as well as hospital based OP clinics handle this situation? We do allow our OP staff to work on acute care if they chose to come in.
