Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just thought that I would write and tell you that the Magic Foundation's East Coast Blast was very nice. They had over 100 people register and 87 attend, the coordinator Sandrock said that Magic felt it a big success. There were 7 RSS families which was a strong showing and fun for us as a family. We were lucky to have another little girl there that is just about the same size and age as our (2 years old) and it was a first for us as parents to see them playing side by side-both so petite. We passed along info about this listserv to some of the parents so perhaps we will see them here on the list soon. I wish that we could have met more of you from the list, but it makes me excited for Chicago. For those interested in knowing.....the group met at Nauticus in Norfolk, VA, which is a maritime/science museum on Saturday morning. The rain held back for a nice outdoor meeting and mingling hour. Next was an on- your- own lunch and the RSS families got together in the cafeteria which was great for both the kids and adults to talk. The next few hours were spent touring the museum. Later that evening many members of the group got together at Jeepers-Creepers an amusement park for young children in a nearby mall for a few hours. All in all a nice event and a good time for those who participated. (Mother to - 29 1/2 in, 16 lbs, RSS)
