Guest guest
Thank you so much for your response. My husband just took na to the Pediatrician and she has a severe ear infection. The Pediatrician prescribed Augmentin for 10 days. na's gut is healing beautifully - She has been on SCD since December 2003 - I do not want to mess up her gut with Augmentin - but if her ear infection is severe - will ear drops be enough? I really do not know what to do - what do you think? Guest guest
Claudette, Our daughter also has UC. But, it is one son that is usually plagued with ear infections. In the past we have always done the antibiotics, but think that is what has lead to many health problems in our family. When he got an ear infection in Feb, we took him to the chiropractor--she treated him with adjustments, ultrasound on his Eustachian tubes, and olive oil/mullein ear drops. It worked!! It was expensive, but we avoided the antibiotics. Then forget about it being > there until I get ready for bed!! Ok guys let me help you out a bit. Hold a teaspoon in hot water. Shake off water. Pour on teaspoon whatever you want to use. The mild heat coming off the teaspoon will slightly heat up the oil, just enough in fact. Better than carrying it in your cleavage?
