Guest guest Posted March 29, 2004 Report Share Posted March 29, 2004 Tina, Define 'hardly eat' When you are hypo, there is a fine line that is important as far as calories go, for many of us. If you eat too many calories you gain weight. BUT if you eat too few calories it slows the metabolic rate AND effects conversion of T4 to T3 which also messes with metabolism and proper utilization of calories. I can't speak on the creams and how stopping them might have affected your 'blown girdle' (I REALLY like that description, btw) but you might want to take a close look at your calorie intake and when you eat... it does make a huge difference for some.
