Dried cranberries are excellent, as are dried cherries. Michigan, amongst

other places makes great dried cherries (and other fruit).

The Guardian, formerly The Manchester Guardian, is no tabloid. It is one of

the world's most respected newspapers. It's available on-line, mostly or all

for free. I remember my Mom getting an International subscription to it when

we (my siblings) were teenagers, to enlarge our world. It came once a week,

with very fine paper. Onion skin is what it was called, I believe. My Dad

thought my Mom was both crazy and extravagant. I think it was a couple of

dollars a month.
