Guest guest
Where do you get it?, is t ok for a 3.9 yo? is it safe to use with other supp? Thanks. Sasha________________________________________________Hi Sema, have you had your child;s heavy metals tested?? If not, you need to do this.. then possibly start DMSA to start the basic form of chelation and then continue other therapies, etc. I would also encourage you to log onto the Dan conferences online, these are free, and you can learn from the Dr;s themselves.. I also want you to read the book Children with Starving Brains, this will make you familiar with all terminology, so you will know what your Dr. is talking about and you can also ask questions as to what you want tested and what treatment you want to do next.. Check out the Son Rise Program in Sheffield Massachussetts, you can do this program , when your child comes home and will help you to feel like you are reaching your child.. I did this program for 9yrs. And I am getting ready to restart with higher level activities.. if you call them, they can also rent you the movie: it is called Son Rise the Miracle Continues by Barry Kaufmann and the book is also called the same.. it is old, but I believe it still works and teaches you how to reach your child.. Sema, if you child became worse on the gluten free diet after 4 months, it means the yeast was dying and your child was eventually going to be better.. When this happened, you should have given him charcoal tablets to absorb the toxins that were dying off. I would encourage you to restart the diet immediately. . There is a book called : The Yeast Connection by Dr. Crook that will explain how the body changes when the yeast dies off.. We have all gone through the regression and you just have to counteract the behaviors with charcoal tablets that can be bought at your local drugstore or use alka seltzer gold and you will see improvements immediately. . You can never give up and think of me, I have been doing this a very long time and I will never give up on my son, there are new things everyday.. So far the OSR has been our miracle.. but all forms of chelation, DMSA, EDTA and DMPS, also helped him tremendously. . I hope these suggestions help and take care.. Guest guest
Hi, Sasha: at the present time I am ordering it from a Dentist in San .. I believe the child should be 4yrs. Old and that you should have chelated before using it with either DMSA, EDTa or DMPS. If you need any other information, please let me know.. Hello Corinne, Thank you very much for your message. We live in Istanbul when he was diognosed he was 2,5 yrs old with situtation very limiyed eye contact, none any verbal, when we call his name no any response started immediteatly special education for autistic child supplied by the goverment 3 day a week for 45 minutes , closed T.V. than 3 months later he has started to talk with echolalia , we have started casein diet also last summer tried gluten diet too but it was so hard for us and during gluten diet he has go back and goint worst than normal after 4 months we have stopped gluten diet and continue only casain diet. We have tried NDF plus but also NDF has increased his autistic behaivýours like sterotypic behaviours than after 1 month we stopped NDF now we continue MB12 and oksitoksin spray, Carlston Fish Oil and 3 months ago we have started homeopathy. Now his biggest problem is Anxiety he has absurd fears such as ventilator if any palce has this he never goes in, some car types especially old ones if seen on the street he is stopping and waiting for this car go. He has lots of obsessed behaviours , do not play with other kids, he do the same things and like to say same things .... Your advace much appreciated. Hi Sema, so nice to hear from you.. first of all I need to know what you have done thus far.. I have followed the protocol, of the book : CHILDREN WITH STARVING BRAINS BY Dr. Jacquelynn McCandless.. I also think you need to be on a gluten free casein free diet , and have to have a clean free environment in your home. Meaning Organic soaps and cleaners with no dyes or preservatives in them.. You can read Is this Your Child by Dr. Doris Rapp, to understand this… You have to start slow for the body to be ready to be chelated.. Have you done any type of chelation yet?? Let me know how I may help you in any other way.. Good luck and take care.. Naima - I can only hope to inspire some moms with younger kids. That would be a blessing. My son is not fully recovered but he is very, very high functioning (similar to an aspie) and our family is lucky to have had so much success with biomed and diet. I remember trying to find moms with kids a few yrs older than mine just when the internet was being 'born' - he he - man am I old!! While the window of quick recovery may be open when they are younger, " recovering " continues well into young adulthood and beyond. I only wish my son was 6 yrs old today with all the knowledge and support from groups like this!! You WILL heal your baby - have no doubt about that. Tx for your kind words and blessings to u also. Hi Heidi, 1st I would like to thank you for your experience and wisdom on this tricky journey we're both on. 2nd I want to thank you for the reminder of patience I frequently run out of. My son is 6 and I pray when my son is 16 that I will be able to guide another struggling parent with knowledge and grace as you have. Please know there are never mistakes only lessons of which you passed on to me towards healing my son. I want NOTHING more than to heal my baby. So I thank you again Heidi.... God bless you and your family.. Love and Faith, Naima > > We have been on it for one month (16 y/o son) and not sure what its doing but my son is making some nice verbal and social gains lately. My doc said it does take some time to work - possibly 6 mos. It works by scavaging free radicals which in turn increases glutothione levels because the gl doesn't have to do all the work. This can also reduce inflammation. Even with gl. IV pushes my son's levels were never high. My doc has seen some nice progress with OSR on kids who sometimes are non-responders. The key is with all biomedical treatments to give it time. When my son was younger I made the mistake of moving on too quickly b/c I was looking for a silver bullet. Normally healing takes time but once in a while you get a jump ahead with something that pushes progress faster. I wish you all the best and pls keep the list updated of your experience. Guest guest
Can you give me some details on this. We have not yet tested for heavy metal. But I know my son has lead problem, as it always shows up in his blood test with his pediatric physician do on routine. My son Dan dr asked for iv challenge test and start OSR. I am not very comfortable doing iv challenge test. considering this fact, can i start OSR, it is ok not ok? Also Dan suggested to take Molybdenum as an supplement when doing OSR. Does anyone take this? Thanks for any suggestion guide provided.Sanjay To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sun, July 18, 2010 1:50:42 AMSubject: Re: OSR? We have never chelated before and are using it. Guest guest
Hi Sanjay, ask your Dan if it is O.k. to use the OSR before trying the other chelators and if he thinks you should use it before the challenge test. Yes it is a good idea to use Molybdenym as well as an anti fungal, since the OSR will cause yeast to grow.. I also think it is very important to be on a gluten free casein free diet.. You have to work for miracles.. before they can happen.. Ask questions and check out Dr. Boyd Haleys research on his website to clarify any fear you might be having.. Good luck and I hope this helps answer your questions..
