First off, I would caution one to identifying potential suspects, who

have allegedly committed a criminal act in an open forum. There may

be facts and circumstances that you are not aware of, or they may not

be true at all. This opens one up to libel and slander suits.

Also, you need to use spell check on your email. warrent should

be " warrant " personal should be " personnel " weekest should

be " weakest " .

I do not know if " Alan " is your real name, but 90210 is the zip

code for Beverly Hills, California. The only Alan in the

certification query is an EMT Basic- with an El Paso address.

You refer to TDH as the " Texas state EMS Department " . You then say

you " hope some thing can be done " , which should read " hope something

can be done " . The reference to Texas state EMS Department makes it

sound as though you are not in Texas EMS, or are not in EMS period-

we all know it is referred to as " The Bureau " , " Bureau of Emergency

Management " , or " TDH " .

My 2 cents- don't slam someone on the list unless you have the ammo

to back it up- if he is not convicted (if he has even been

charged), you have basically said he did it- and guess what, he may

come back to file a lawsuit against you for defamation of character!

Any legal gurus.... (IE: Gandy, Ogilvie, etc) care to jump in here?

moral turpitude?

Do you think somone with moral turpitude should keep there EMS

license? There is quite a cover up " secret " going on in a west

texas town. It's SHH. for the employees, as if they talk about this

there is a automatic 3 day suspension. Hear no evil, speak no evil,

see no evil... As it stands Superviser Cole Bullard EMS#58176

can't leave the county without making a phone call to law

enforcement. He had a warrent for " deadly Conduct " Booked in jail and

had to post bail. This came about after he placed a rifle to the head

of a coworker, at work in the crew room.. He was not placed on

suspension and still employed working the streets.. This is the kind

of person I don't want taking care of my family or those that can't

speak for themselves...I hold all ems personal to the highest level

of moral character, as these poeple go in to your very home at your

weekest moment and make life and saftey decisions.

If this same event happened but this person was a police officer, I

belive he would be fired, and state action would take place to remove

this person from ever getting a public safety job again.

To end, EMS works with the public and has a public trust just like

any public safety office Police/Fire/EMS.

If this person can do this to a coworker and not face state action

what could this person do to the confused, weak, mental ill. or

combative patients...maybe some one in the Texas state EMS Dept.

is reading this. I hope some thing can be done

Well, of course they're trying to keep it quiet. It's a personnel

issue, and until all is said and done, it's nobody's business except

the individual, the person who complained, and the supervisors

involved in the investigation.
