Guest guest
Crista, Cranial Tech doesn't put air holes in their bands. You just have to dress him lighter when it gets hot out. If he's having a problem with sweating you can take his band off for a minute a few times a day and wipe his head and the inside of the band down with a towel. Let us know how the casting goes, bring a lollipop! > > > I contacted CT and they said they can get us right in as soon as > the paperwork is cleared (about a week). Guest guest
Christa, Thats great! Good luck w/the casting! The summer isn't as bad as you think, you just have to take it off and wipe it off if you're going to be outside. We had a/c inside and didn't spend too long of periods outside. CT doesn't use air holes at all. Let us know how the casting goes. , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > > > I contacted CT and they said they can get us right in as soon as > the paperwork is cleared (about a week). Guest guest
Hi Crista, My son was banded in August and was just over 6 months old when he got it. We are in Michigan and it was really hot and sticky humid when he got it. In the beginning, their heads sweat a lot as their bodies adjust to the heat so you need to wipe the bands off regularly and towel off the sweaty head too. When the temps get high and humid, just dress PJ is light as possible clothes and you will be just fine! > > > I contacted CT and they said they can get us right in as soon as > the paperwork is cleared (about a week). Guest guest
, I notice that you are in Michigan. Me too, and I'm interested in pursuing banding options. May I inquire what part of Michigan you are in and/or what CT location you are using? Guest guest
Crista, Congratulation on getting your appointment with Cranial Tech. I know all of the hard work you did with repo will mean less to improve with the DOCband, and at 's age, he should receive excellent correction! Would you let us know how his casting goes in a week? Take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > > > I contacted CT and they said they can get us right in as soon as > the paperwork is cleared (about a week).
