I think that is probably a question you will have to ask your doctor.

I know that some of our ladies have had babies after chemo but I have

not heard of anyone mentioning having a baby after reconst. I wonder

if the mesh (whatever they call it) they put in to strengthen the

stomach muscles would not be a hindrance to being pregnant. Better to

ask your doctor.

I had TRAM flap and would think that pregnancy afterwards wouldn't be a good idea. I had mine after my chemo and was in menopause so I knew I wouldn't be getting pregnant again, thus didn't ask the doctor about it. You could probably have LAT flap done but consult with your plastic surgeon and see what he suggests. Best of wishes.
