Question about BCBS Appeal

Hi. We appealed BCBS twice and got denied twice. So we filed another

appeal through ERS since our insurance is self-funded. We sent our

appeal in around the end of May. Have not heard anything yet. Was

wondering if I should call to find out the progress or wait until

they contact me? Anyone also know what kind of chance I have against

ERS?

Thanks for everyones help over the last year through all of this. It

has been a stressful ride and hope it all comes to an end for the

GOOD soon.

Tonia,

Altho I don't have much experience w/ insurance appeals because ours

was covered, I'd definitely encourage you to put in a few calls to

them and inquire why the delay. In other words, HOUND them. 2

months is way too long of a wait in my opinion. Hopefully others

will chime in and help out w/ ERS.

Tonia,

Yes, I would call. I'm not sure what ERS is but I wanted to send my

support and good wishes to you. I reported our ins. co. to the NY

State Insurance Dept. and that *may* have helped overturn their

denial. Good luck and please let me know if there is anything else I

can help you with.

Any news from ERS?

And were you able to contact that woman who was successful with her BCBS

of TX appeal?
