Guest guest
sounds like you not only had a fantastic time, aubrey, but it sounds like the two of you are thrilled to be home-sweet-home. we're so glad you were able to make some wonderful memories together, and so happy you're back here in the group :-) thanks for sharing, maureen ( & jim) [mail] Sweden Lovely country. Lots of history. Lots of museums. Lots of palaces. No snow. Lots of sun. Lots of Swedes (for some strange reason!). Uppsala was very interesting. We stayed in an older hotel next to the canal. On the other side of the canal were the Royal Palace, the university of Uppsala and the largest cathedral in Scandanavia. The countryside is much like Canada, as is the vegetation. Stockholm is built on a number of islands, very picturesque. More than 70 museums; lots of history. Quite a few palaces. Lovely place to walk around. A outdoor museum with old buildings from all over Sweden. A zoo on the grounds with brown bears, wolves, wolverines, lynx, moose, reindeer, seals. Lots of decent food. Very enjoyable. And now Caroline's work is done and she's home with me. A further blessing.Aubrey
