Keri, thank you SO much for posting that...I would have missed it. It brought a tear to my eye. Your daughter looks like a wonderful kid! We've long noticed our son's strong attraction to the water, especially waves. It really brings out the best in him. So exciting to see that we're not the only ones, and that there are folks making something great of it. Living in the midwest, we'll have to start Boone's surfing lessons on Lake Michigan, I guess! We do hyperbarics in Melbourne at ICDRC. We live in Vero Beach so we are on the east coast- no oil spill waters yet! My daughter does great in the ocean- no negatives just positives! Keri

 

Wow!!!!! I want to move to Florida now! Out of curiosity how does your daughter do with the ocean water? I did the beach water once and my son had such a bad reaction to it for weeks. Are you concerned about the BP spill in the Gulf water?

I love it!! We too have an 11 yr old girl who loves the water! A bit colder here in Mass, but thanks for the idea!LuzWow!!!!! I want to move to Florida now!
