Guest guest
Thanks for replies on the question. My DH's son at 5 was allready manipulative, with outbursts of anger when manipulation did not work. He cannot play games because he has fits if he does not win. When playing with friends if things dont go his way he invents violent scenarios such as killing them throwing them through the window, dragging them to the dog pen and feeding them to dogs, he also gets so mad when playing rough with next door neighbor that instead of just realizing she is giving right back what he is dishing out that he has tried to strangle her. He invents lies, not little white lies to keep out of trouble, but whole great scenarios of things that just did not happen. he is sullen and depressed one minute and a wild hyperactive idiot the next. He acts out a lot I think to get negative attention which I think is the only kind he gets with his ubpd mom. He is six now and cannot tell the truth to save his life, he says whatever he thinks the person he is with wants to hear. I cant help him, mother has refused visitation completely now, only hope is if we get custody. I know they do not diagnose BPD in children and are even reluctant to do it in teens, but I sure see it coming! But definately around 14 - 16ish. What I thought was just difficult teens was probably the major onset, so to speak. Send questions & concerns to WTOParentsOfBPs-owner .
