Guest guest
Popcorn is not legal, but I have an idea for possibly substitute, depending what aspect of popcorn you are wanting to approximate. If you want a small, crunchy, snack to eat during a movie, you can make very small meringues. Using a frosting bag (like for cake decorating) and tip, pipe very small meringues onto parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Smaller than a dime. Think " dots " - maybe m & M size. Bake as usual. Keep an eye on the temp; maybe even a bit lower than 250. These can easily be 'scooped' up in your hand. They are pretty innocuous ingredients, so even if the child eats a BUNCH for some special occasion, it is probably fine. -- Sue, mom to Adam and SCD 5 months
