Hi Debby,

If your local pharmacist or pedi endo are unable to locate the Inject-Ease

automatic

injectors (B-D and/or Palco brands) for you, it can be found for purchase online

at

the following sites:

Diabetes.com (a PlanetRx.com satellite site) ($23.49)

http://www.diabetes.com/store/product_detail/10017.html

(B-D Inject-Ease Automatic Injector)

EliteMedical.com ($34.00)

http://www.elitemedical.com/ehms1/specialyitems.html

(B-D Inject-Ease Automatic Injector)

(scroll 3/4 of the way down on the page and you'll see it)

DiabeticExpress.com ($24.95)

http://www.diabeticexpress.com/cgi-bin/dexpress.cgi/08-22?yPMzAYhJ;;187

The following info regarding Humatrope (Eli Lilly and Co., USA) might be helpful

to

you and Adam:

Web Address for Eli Lilly and Company:

http://www.lilly.com

Information on Humatrope: (can access info for U.S. and Canadian residents from

this

link)

http://www.humatrope.com/

The following links are taken from the Eli Lilly USA site:

Full Prescribing Information for Humatrope:

http://humatrope.lilly.com/Prescribe_HTML.htm

Information on the HumatroPen:

http://humatrope.lilly.com/HumatroPen.htm

Information on the Safari Club for Kids:

http://humatrope.lilly.com/Kids.htm

The above info regarding Humatrope, the HumatroPen, etc., is taken from the Eli

Lilly

USA site on the Web. Eli Lilly Canada also has a site on the Web, however one

must

have a password (in other words, one must be a professional) to access much of

the

info on Humatrope. In addition, have you inquired about the use of the

HumatroPen II

(Roman numeral 2 - not 11)? From what I've been told, it is currently available

for

use in Canada, but not in the USA. Regarding Humatrope... Given the fact that

the

USA and Canada have different regulations and laws governing the distribution of

info

with regards to pharmaceuticals (even if said pharmaceuticals are

manufactured/marketed by the same pharmaceutical company), I would suggest you

contact your local Eli Lilly Canada rep for additional and up-to-date

information on

Humatrope including storage/stability info.

Good luck to you and Adam next Wednesday!

P.
