If you're already set on banding, you can get a script from your

pediatrician. The script doesn't have to come from a specialist. Will

your ped write you a script?

I'm wondering how many of you just go straight to your pediatrician

for a band script? My ped referred us to the ped.plastic surgeon.

Wouldn't the specialist have to check for fusion or any other

problems that are related to the plagio? My ped wouldn't really

give me anything beyond the fact that he had a severe case.

We got the script from our ped & at the time I was worried because we didn't have testing done to rule out fusion or anything. I didn't know enough at the time to know that was something we should worry about.
