Hello topper2,

It's doing okay in my legs, upper arms and back..

tjc> but the budha belly and inner thighs are still a problem. I hoping that

tjc> that will get better as more of the fat comes out of it... then the skin

tjc> can pull in. So I'm still losing, but not as quickly... I'm hoping the

tjc> skin will catch up....

Wear support pants and tights to help your skin shrink back and adhere

to the underlying tissue. thats what is recommended after lipo and i

know it works after regular weight loss as well. I lost over 86

lbs-probably 100 but didn't have scales that went that high - and the

skin stopped drooping after starting to wear supportive underwear.

now of course that my adrenals and thyroid are messed up badly, i am

gaining a lot of weight despite maintaining a good low carb diet but i think i

am gaining less than i would be if i was eating anything.

I've been wondering about that myself.... they use compression clothing

type stuff for burn victims, too, to help 'guide' their skin....

You've just sparked an idea for a new experiment... I'll try it, first...

it's too weird to talk about, unless it works.... if I does, I'll share!

Promise!

That's how I take it... something to support the skin in the position

that it is supposed to be in.. then as the fat is lost the skin adjusts

to the position.... I'm thinking that's how it works... they do it with

burn patients, so that as the new skin grows in it ends up being in the

correct proportions and positions.

As I've mulled it around in my brain to day.... as we age and grow our

skin just stretches and grows with us, conforming to the body as it

changes... but when we lose large amounts of weight, the skin doesn't

just shrink... I'm thinking it must need some help in getting in the

place that it needs to be and then conforming...

I look at my body and there are just some areas that have too much weight

still behind that loose skin, forcing it to stay loose, it can't 'lift'

what is still there to move to where it should....

So I guess it's making sense, to me, that if I support it so that it can

adjust as those areas continue to shrink... it will know what to do...

Our bodies are designed to adjust, maybe for this stuff they need some

help....

.... worth a shot to me... money considerations aside.. the thought of

having surgery to remove it and shift it does not appeal to me....
