Guest guest
To those adult RSS people on the list: Do you have " food " issues as an adult? I have a daughter, age 8 1/2, RSS and we try not to make food a stuggle/point of argument with her at all. Is there lingering effects in your life from everyone paying attention to what you were eating/not eating? Anything your parents did that was good or bad regarding your eating (especially once you were old enough to decide on your own what you chose to eat...not infant/toddler stage)? If you had siblings, what way did your parents allow/require your food needs to differ from brothers/sisters, and was that a point of disagreement, and if so, how was it handled? As a parent, you hear these stories about eating disorders and want to definitely avoid them. Any feedback you have will be great. I, like others, am encouraged to hear from you RSS adults, and am so glad you are doing well. Thanks for being part of this group. Cheryl V., mother of , age 8 1/2, RSS, and , age 5, non-RSS.
