Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I've been confused by what I've been reading about Inulin. Some say its great others say its bad. We're not on the SCD Diet so I'm not worried about those issues. My understanding is that it is a soluble prebiotic that basically feeds good GI bugs (bifido, Lactobacilli). I understand that it does not bulk stools like insoluble fibers. Is this correct? We've been using Biotagen which contains inulin, arabinogalactan (sp?), and other pre-biotics which have helped my son's BMs. However, I don't want to cause him longer term problems. Any thoughts on this? Thanks,
