Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am interested in moving my daughter away from her continuous nighttime tube feedings. She currently gets 16 ounces over 6 hours. But, she can tolerate 4 ounce boluses during the day. The continuous feedings were a necessity for the first 2 years of her life, as she has always had terrible reflux....but it has improved. I feel like the continuous feeding is no longer necessary. And it seems so unnatural.....on top of the fact that it is occurring while she is sleeping! So, can some of you please share how you moved toward bolus feedings? I am sure that it will still involve feeding while she is sleeping, but I just wondered if there were established techniques for this sort of thing Thanks Irene Mom to , 3 3/4 years old, tube fed, GH, periactin
