Guest guest
Andi, Lily, and , I sent replies to e-mails last night that never went through. So I thought I'd combine them. Andi, I'm not offended by you asking questions. I might have a flare up--I have all the symptoms you mentioned except I don't have diarrhea. I take 1500 mg of calcium citrate daily and about 18 months ago had a bone density test with about 90% they said that was very good. I would thinkI should be back on Nexium, which I ran out of and didn't have a prescription since I had months worth of samples. I have a hiatal hernia and I'm sure that causes some pain. To tell you the truth--hunger is much less uncomfortable than the after-effects of eating. I will discuss this all with my dr on Wed. I think he's pretty good. He's the second doctor I've had and I definitely like him better than my first. He has been very aggresive in helping me get disability--still waiting on SSDI. But I've received my first check from PERSI (Idaho's retirement system for public employees) I received early disability retirement. I expect to hear from Soc. Sec. in the next month or so. I took an antihistamine the other night and it's taken the edge off of the itching since then. Of course, I was dead to the world the next day or so. I used to do the cold water thing on my feet, but I have such a cold deep ache in my feet and lower legs that I wouldn't want to chill them any more. Lily, i really appreciate your concern. I know how horrible liver failure is. My sister died in Nov. from breast cancer that matastisized to her liver. Though chemotherapy almost killed her a time or two--she died from liver failure. Knowing that I could become that bad, made it particularly painful for me. I was very close to my sister and miss her terribly. Along with depression I am a pretty weepy lady. I have a lot of stress in my day-to-day life (as do many of us) and I know that makes me sicker. I do have faith and hope and appreciate everyone's prayers and positive thoughts and encouragement.
