Guest guest Posted July 23, 2004 Report Share Posted July 23, 2004 Hi Jocelyn, They genarally use CT's or xrays. Xrays are often not as conclusive as the CT though. Hannah had an xray, which they said they'd try first and if it wasn't conclusive then a CTscan, and for that they didn't do sedation. She was only 3 mos old though too, so I'm not sure if that's always the case or not. Luckily the results were conclusive, so they didn't need to do a CTscan. Most members whose babies have needed a CTscan did need sedation I think.
