Just had to weigh in on the biopsy issue. He did three places. The first

two it wasn't anything but pressure. The last one was intense pain for a split

second. It would make me a little nervous if I had to do it again but overall

it is really minor. Staying in bed afterward was really annoying. Also no

heavy lifting or exercise for two weeks, which I thought was a bit extreme.

I am glad I had it done. Knowing an exact diagnosis gives you a little peace

of mind.

When I had my biopsy done last year, I was not hospitalized. After the

biopsy, I was in the recovery room for a while and then was released.

The neph did the painless procedure.

Hi Debbie. Hashimotos is more an inflammation rather than something

associated with cancer. But I'm sure your doc will help steer you in

the right direction!
