Guest guest
Hello I've never heard of plagio being painful. The brain actually grows into whatever shape there is. Maybe your son has a different issue. Have you had the ears checked on the side that he is pulling on? For teething it might be a bit early, but every baby is different and I've even heard of babies being born with teeth. Please do investigate further why he is having the crying spells. Guest guest
Hi , What you are describing actually reminds me the description a friend of mine made of their baby who suffered from reflux. I just thought I'd mention it because a correlation between torticollis and reflux is mentioned on the torticolliskids discussion group sometimes. It is said that reflux can cause tort (as the child postures themselves in a way to try to make themselves more comfortable). I've also seen people comment that the opposite - tort can cause reflux - is also possible. I don't understand that one as well. I don't recall whether you said Lake has been diagnosed with torticollis or how severe it is. I'm just mentioning the reflux connection just in case it is something to look into to explain those painful episodes he's having. - > My 3 month old son has recently been " diagnosed " with plagio even > though he had his flat spot from birth. Guest guest
Hi , I have not heard of Plagio being painful. It sounds as if there is something else going on here. Have you had him checked out for a possible ear infection/problem? Ear infections are very common with plagio. There was also a reference to reflux, does he have these fits just after a bottle?
