Strep/PANDAS/Tonsillectomy

Hi,Needing some advice. Rapid strep test on Landon came back positive. Strep is becoming a big issue for us in regards to behavior.We will be doing a round of antibiotics, and possibly some prophylactally (sp?) as well Our son's DAN! doc has "strongly" recommended that we consider having our son's tonsils removed...wanted to know what others think about this?Thanks,Lori
