Guest guest
My four-year old came home from school at noon today feeling a little warm. He immediately laid down and slept for 2 hours. He had a fever of about 100 degrees when he woke up, and he wouldn't eat anything for lunch (he hadn't eaten breakfast, either). He did drink some veggie/fruit juice. At 4 pm his fever was at 102, and he was crying and indicating that his throat hurt. I took him to the doctor and she rx'd Azithromycin, saying he had sinus and bronchitis-type issues. He ended up not eating anything at all today. Ugh. But, he did drink more juice before bed. He won't touch water. We just finished a month of Nystatin today. Now the antibiotic will kick up the yeast, again. :-( I'll up his s. boulardii and probiotics, and refill the Nystatin. Is there anything else I should look out for or be concerned about with this rx? Thanks!
