Hi everyone! Thank you for posting to me. I do understand that we can

get the yellow skin from betacarotene. You should not have yellow eyes

with it, but I went over to my mother-in-law's (because I was scared

and my husband is in Canada right now), and she told me that she did

this kind of worrying when she was younger. She made herself a nervous

wreck. SHe too has hypothyroidism, and I suspect it is Hashi's and she

has had it for years (only diagnosed 2+ years ago). ANyway, she said

when you worry yourself like that, you tend to see what you want to

see. SO, if you are worried about seeing yellow in the eye, you are

going to see it. Probably true. The good news is that I called the

endo and finally got SOME results from my lab done over a month ago.

They did do a liver enzyme test:

SGOT

SGPT and both were normal

Free T4 was 1.04 &

TSH was 1.7

That's all she gave me. Amazing, huh? What the heck do those values

(thyroid) show? ANyway, I don't imagine that I have come down with

some liver dysfunction in 4 weeks, so I am going to leave that alone

and try to focus on getting better. I guess when you have kids and

think about them not having a Mommy to love them as I know only I can,

then you can really do a psychological doozy on yourself.

Anyway, thank you all for posting back to ease my mind. I feel like an

idiot.

, you are NOT an idiot. You were scared. And we've ALL been

there.

As far as your numbers, there is no way to tell anything. Your

doctor will look at those and tell you that you are normal, which

can be the FARTHEST from the truth. You need to get a free T3,

honey. Sorry.

Im glad you are feeling better...Don't feel like an idiot!! I'm sure a few of

looked at our eyes and our skin..I remember when I went in to see the

acupuncturist he looked at my skin and eyes...he also looked at my tongue and

was surprised by my purple dots on my tongue...I was all over the Internet and

was worried I had a heart or liver problem...Turns out I have had it all my

life...and I knew this , but decided to panic anyways....

I know, I know! The good news (I hope) is that we are moving from

Knoxville, TN within the next month after the house closing. It looks

like back to Canada. This will be good for me. My whole family is

there. Also, I can look for a doctor who is more progressive and open

to proper testing and symptom evaluation. Lets cross our fingers.

Thank you again for being here for me. You guys have been instrumental

in me starting Armour. I don't think would have ever tried it without

finding you :) :) :).
