Guest guest
Esther You must go and see someone. That is exactly what was happening to me when my band slipped. I know this is your second band, you were probably told that it doesn't happen twice, well I don't like to cause you any worry, but if it was me, I would like to know exactly where that little band was sitting. When was your last barium swallow? You need to ring back and tell her that the ice did not work, for heavens sake if you can't even keep ice down then you need urgent treatment. Ring Kathy at the Alfred. I think it is the Monash Department of Surgery at the Alfred Hospital. She would be the best person to tell you who is available to see you. If you can't even keep water down then you need to have the fluid removed and perhaps admitted until they know that you can keep food and fluid down and what was wrong. Stand your ground and don't let them give you the run around Good luck. I will be thinking of you. Sally
