Guest guest
Hi, Well, Unfortunately I did think of that but didn't work is not an emergency and I can't lie and say it is. Just leaving message that I needed to talk to him just wasn't enough. I talked to another of my doctors this afternoon as a "professional patient." Asked her if I was being to demanding, of course after explaining what went on. She suggested writing a hard copy letter to him. Then call tomorrow morning and ask for the best address to send it to. If they ask what it is to say since can't talk to Doctor am writing and if that doesn't get me on the phone to him then to mail it. She felt that I shouldn't give him up until I talk to him personally although she can't understand the treatment. She is the kindest doctor I know. Would you believe someone with her home phone number on her appointment cards? She even called me on Christmas Day one year to make sure I was feeling OK after a procedure. I surely wish she was a pain doctor! Also agreed with me that I don't want to try and go to anyone at the pain clinic at Shands. I don't know what to write to DR now since I don't need to talk to him. Just a re hash really does seem a waste of a busy doctors time.
