Sue,

How exciting! I do hope you do it, we have had a few group members'

babies make it in the news, and I'd love to see read about another

Superstar! Let us know what happens.

Also, it sounds like her son's " preemie head " was scaphocephaly, the

rarest of the 3 headshapes (plagio, brachy, scapho,) which can also

be treated with helmets/bands. I wonder if her son's head ever

rounded back out after birth, or if he still has that headshape?

Take care,

Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy)

PREEMIE HEAD????? Sums it up right there, don'tcha think? PEDS NEED

EDUCATION! Good for you for getting a story done! I've been trying

here. They will do article after article about soft drinks and

obesity, and even just did one about screaming and reflux, but no

takes on plagio yet. I'll keep bugging them.

That would be great Sue! YOu could always ask for them to use first

names only if it makes you feel more comfortable. Our paper did a

front page story on Hannah last summer (it's on the files section)

and I was amazed at how many people it helped! So many people

contacted the newspaper asking if the could get in touch with us

(and pay for our helmets too!). Hannah was a total superstar for a

long time! She actually still even got recognized a couple times in

this last helmet, a whole year later!

That is awesome news! I ran into so many roadblocks with

newspapers/mags in our area. The interest just wasn't there. So I

did manage to get some letters to editor's published instead! I

sure hope they do the story and help get the word out!
