Please notify injured workers of this important DLI Advisory Council

hearing, which will be held Oct 16, at 10 AM at Shamokin Dam Quality

Inn.  Shamokin Dam is about an hour north of burg, along with

Susquehanna River's west side, on route 11 and 15.  This is an easy and

pleasant trip....not in the congested cities as have been two of the

previous hearings.

It is important that the problems that injured workers are having be

brought to the attention of the Advisory Council and the government

officials by as many injured workers and their families as possible....we

cannot give them room to be able to say that problems with the workers'

comp system only happen to a few injured workers.

Please bring copies of a summary of what you plan to say.....for the

minutes....for the advisory council and government officials.

Please notify others of this important hearing.  Take the time to go to

your legislators, and ask them to notify their media contacts with this

press release; and, ask them to notify injured workers who have brought

their problems to them.  Also, please go to as many media sources in your

community as you can.  If you can't get out....then e-mail this media

release to them.....personally asking them to notify the public of this

hearing.  Or, get the phone numbers for the media out of your phone book

and phone them....asking for their managing editors....or business

editors....and read off the media release to them....ask them to notify

their readers and listeners.

There is really a lot that each of us  can do to make this important

hearing a success....the choice is yours....to do your part or not to do

your part.
