Guest guest
Hi Dana! What about a belt? I bought a cute one for my nephew at Wal mart. Also my older guy, who is not RSS but also has no butt, we use overalls. I just leave one of the straps a little looser so he can get them on & off with minimal help. Maybe with some practice could get the hang of it before September so he wouldn't have to ask for any help. - mom of (3yrs) & (14mons,11lbs5oz,RSS,ASD) ville, New York PS My is starting pre-K in the fall too! Guest guest
It's been awhile since I've had to buy clothes for Max that are that small, however, I can share some things we were able to do to help him feel like a big boy in preschool: Overalls! We found them without snaps at Gap. I did not mind spending the extra money because Max wore them for so long that I thought he would wear them out first. Old Navy. Is there a store near you? A lot of their pants for little ones do not have snaps. They have elastic waists so they are easy to pull up and down. At Kids R Us I was able to go into the little boys' sizes if I bought the smallest sizes in slim - Levis was one of the brands. Did you check out Lands End, Talbots Kids, LL Bean and Eddie Bauer? They are all online so you can use your computer to check them out. A lot of non-denim pants are without snaps. Once the weather gets warmer, you won't have a problem because then you can use shorts all the time. And I know there is a certain brand I used to buy that had no snaps, but I can't rememer the name. I had to get them at children's specialty shops/catalogs, but again did not mind the price because of the length of time Max was able to wear them. If you receive children's clothing catalogs in the mail, check them out. Many of them do not sell many pants with snaps. I hope this helps. Guest guest
Dana, We have a really small belt and suspenders. They both work really well, but the suspenders are easier for him to pull down when he needs to use the bathroom. Judy Clothes to fit the age > Hi, Inga and everyone > I was going through s clothes the other day, you know just seeing what needed to be kept and what was to small or to ragged to wear and it dawned on me that doesn't need jeans that snap between the legs. He is almost 4 and the only thing I can find that fits is either snap pants or sweats (18 to 24 months). I'm still not sure these options will fit without a pull-up under them. My son has no butt. Does anyone have any suggestions for this small but potentially significant problem? was registered for pre-K today, he might think I'm sending him to school in baby pants when he sees the other boys in regular jeans. > It seems like when the my girls were small the clothes were more age flexible, little dresses aren't as age defining as jeans that snap between the legs. > Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated. > Danna mom to , slim, with nothing to hold his pants up with. Well, we might check into suspenders. > > >

" ---------------------------------- I have found Healthtex pants, which you can find at Kids R Us, with the elastic waist have worked well for Ross. Their waistlines are really tiny - I've even had to let some of them out so that Ross' belly doesn't get too squished. Also when they get a little bit bigger, Levi's has a slim-fit jean starting at size 3, I believe. They worked great for Ross but hard to unsnap to go to the bathroom. Suspenders worked great until he realized that no one else was wearing them. Hope this helps a bit. Guest guest
Judy, I have bought them at children's specialty shops in this area. We are fortunate enough to have one right in town that sells the stuff at a discount. There is another one close by. I do believe, however, that a catalog called Children's Wear Digest has Flapdoodles. I'm sure they are on the internet. Would you like me to check for you? Sometimes they refer to themselves as CWD, so that may help. Jodi Re: Clothes to fit the age > > > > The name of the clothing company I could not recall last night is > > Flapdoodles. Guest guest
Judy, I searched Yahoo to find the website for Children's Wear Digest. It is listed with a website at www.cwdkids.com . The only problem is that when I tried to get to the site, it did not work. I know they have an 800 number. Maybe you can try reaching them that way.
