the reason why I don't is because When I was pregnant with Sami, I couldn't drink or eat any dairy products at all....they made me really sick. So, she took all of the calcium out of my teeth, which ruined my teeth.

So, I went to the dentist to have the crowns and stuff done, but found out that with my family history, my teeth are too soft to hold any fillings, caps or crowns or anything. So, I ended up having to have all of my teeth pulled instead, at the age of 25.

I've had dentures since.....actually, I'm on my second set....accidently broke my first set at the beginning of this year in too many pieces to put back together. (found out not to lose my temper and toss my teeth towards the stand where I put them usually!)

So....don't need a blender.....but, still don't cook!!!! lol

Hi Tonia,

Jazmee gave some excellent advise.

I agree with what she said It is destructive and not worth the time

spent on it

I bet today he is different, that is if your pain is less today. I

know that is why Gene was grouchy, he doesn't know what to do to help

so he blames you.

You better not ever take more meds than you should again or you WILL

get that visit from me!

Seriously, you are a good Mom, you know that and a good wife, so let

it go, Gene will apologize someday. They always do! LOL

Cass,

unfortunately, 2 days ago I snapped a muscle in the back of my right knee, the one that got hit by the car to begin with, while trying to lay down in bed. I have not used crutches in 2 years......now I will have to get them out, because I cannot walk at all.

As for not waking up, unfortunately, I did.......

lmao......I am gonna guess that they have finally met their match!! Good! my 2 needs it~!

as for no markers, gum and other stuff.......including teaching science, Oh Boy do I wish you lived closer to me!!!! Sami needs all the help she can get!! We are now starting a program with her in school called the WHAT Team.....its going to involve 3 or 4 teachers, the Principal, the School Psychiatrist, Me, and Sami. We are going to try and figure out where at exactly what subjects Sami needs help in, if any of those subjects needs shortened for her (like a shorter spelling list, less math homework so that she can actually get it done and understand it at the same time, more reading in school with help, but not one on one.....she does great with one on one help, but refuses to do it with any others there.) she actually does great IN SCHOOL one on one.....but its a war here at home no matter HOW we try to get her homework done!

Ok....Petey is hollering at me.....ugh

I haven't been able to take the Flexeril the past few nights because I'm trying to get away from it.

When I take anything to help me sleep...whether its prescription or OTC....if I take it for more than a month or two, I start to sleep more than normal. I sleep an hour more here and there....and end up sleeping constantly.....only waking long enough to take another pill, get a drink, go to the bathroom, smoke a cigarette, and back to sleep.

This is only the 6th prescription med, and I've tried ALL of the OTC stuff, including Tylenol PM and the like.....and they've all done the same thing.

I don't know why either.....Its been like this for the past 5 or so years. I've been on Remeron 2 different times, Elavil 2 different times, another kind I don't remember the name of 3 different times.....all different doses each time......they all were antidepressant/sleeping aids.

Plus, Ambien, another one just recently when Ambien was too much......and now Flexeril that knocks me out at only 5mg!

To top it off, I'm at my wits end, because I can't sleep without anything.....I'm up all night, and sleep all day. or I'll sleep a few hours in the morning, sleep a few hours in the afternoon...and be up all night and do a repeat day after day.

If I'm on something....I just SLEEP!

OMG I'm a major mess here........Heck, even now, taking the 300mg of Seroquel, I'm sleeping more now......and if I start sleeping more cause of that........I'm going to have to cut myself back on it, cause I don't see that doctor again until January!

> Hi Tonia, So sorry to hear about your father in law. He has been

through so much. I will pray that he does not have to suffer long.

At least where he is going, he will be at peace. Take care of

yourself. You really don't sound too good. This stress will be hard

on you. You have my deepest sympathy. TAke care and I will keep you

Hi Tonia,

I know how hard this is on you. I have been through this many times already and it never gets easier even if you have been through it a few times before. Watching someone die that you care about is really hard.

The one thing that I think of the most when I have gone through this is that I am thankful that they will no longer have to suffer once they die. Keep that close to your heart. Hang in there. Take care and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Hugs,

babs

Tonia,

I am sorry for your loss. we lost my nephew, it will be 3 yrs the week of Thanksgiving, so it is hard for us to enjoy that holiday still. My nephew wd have turned 16 the week he died in a car accident. It still hurts and I miss him, but the worst ache goes away in time and you will be able to enjoy life again and think of the good times without so much hurt. I know he is in Heaven and I will see him again, he is probably making the angels laugh and playing guitar in the heavenly band LOL!

I couldn't do the trick-or-treat thing either, I sat in the car and kinda followed hubby and the kids and picked them up when they were done on that street. I kept thinking this may be the last year my 12-yr-old trick or treats but here I am too tired to enjoy, just wanted to be home in bed. It is so hard when you can't do the things with and for your kids the way you want to, just too much pain and no energy. I am dreading christmas this year, I am always the one who does most of the shopping and decprating, just don't think it will happen this year, and will feel bad for the kids cause I want to make it fun and memorable, instead I will be tired and grouchy and not much fun, or I will push past my limits and then be too flared up to do anything at all. Just get tired thinking of it

Things are just going to have to be simpler around here, cause I just can't do what I used to do, and I hate it, but what can I do about it?

And my kids are 8 and 12, can't imagine having little ones like you do and feeling this way. Guess we just have to make the most of our good days and let them know we love them, that is all we can do.

Hang in there ok? Things will be tough for a while but you WILL get through it, try to remind yourself he would not want you to feel so bad, but remember him with gladness for the times you shared.
