Guest guest
To clarify, taking money out on the house to send me to school was stupid not abuse. Using ti to guilt me later was stupider since I saw right through it. I never asked her to do that, would have been better if I had paid for the whole thing all together. However if nada did what she may have done no proof yet. Went out, took out a loan coudln't pay it and tried to pin it on me. I can't afford her debt and at some point somebody has to teach her she can't run to me to pay for her shit. I've paid for mine since I got out of school, outside of the small loan from my dad that I paid back in full mind you I've paid all my bill and got a clean credit record. proflalf Subject: Re: Bills To: WTOAdultChildren1 Date: Saturday, January 9, 2010, 4:36 PM  No, I haven't experienced that particular abuse, but at the other Group I belong to for the adult children of narcissistic pd parents it seems to be a more common behavior for npd parents to exploit their adult children financially. To be frank, though, if your nada took out a loan against her home to send you to college, that's not what I'd call taking financial advantage of you. In my opinion. -Annie > > Fellow KO, > Got a weird letter in the mail yesterday from a lawyer stating that I oweed nearly 9000 bucks to a company I had NEVER heard of in my life. My dh and I think Nada is at work here. ANy of you had this type of thing happen, mind you I've been n/c for over 5 years now. What we suspect is that she ran up some debt, perhaps bought a car since it looks like a car loan went default and tried to claim I'd pay for it. Now it could be an honest screw up, but this company doens't appear anywhere on my credit reports, like I said who the heck are these people. I did more research on this so called company and it is a company that does business with people who have poor credit, aka nada, mind you I've heard over the years that she's almost lost the house, claimed it was my fault, ain't my fault that she insisted on taking money out on the house to send me to school, not my fault she bought that one car on the house. Exactly why I went N/C got tired of the > blame game. I'm going to respond to their claim with a letter and I " m also goign to be contacting a lawyer to clear this little mess up. Hopefully without costing me an arm and a leg. Anybody else have a mess from their nadas this way????? > Happy birthday to me, cleaining up a mess > proflaf > > > > > >
