I hope the band will provide correction to his flattening, but from everything I've read in the past, if all the plates are closed already, the band will not produce any correction and surgery is often the only way to correct this I hope I'm not scaring you, but that's what I've always read in the past. You said you have been to http://www.cappskids.org right? Debbie > No, the band won't do anything to the plates, just the head shape. Like I have replied already, we ruled out the possiblility of surgery, and the dr didn't even believe that he needed the helmut!!!
