Guest guest
Janet, I have had these electrical sensations even before I started any treatment. In fact they had mostly gone in the last few months but have started up again this week. How old are you, anywhere near menopause? I have wondered if this is caused by hormone irregularities as I have recently started using estrogen cream. Lynda (in the UK) Electrical Sensations..... Has anyone here experienced electrical sensations while on Armour and adrenal supps? They feel like a mild electrical prod (shock) is being touched to my skin, mainly in my legs but generally all over my body. Sometimes I get a muscle contraction in conjunction with the electrical sensation. It's usually worse when I lay down to sleep, but are now not limited to that time. I looked up restless leg syndrome and it's similar, but is not limited to my legs anymore. They seem to be increasing since I increased my Armour from 1.5 to 2 this past Sunday. Is it thyroid? Adrenal? Lack of or too much calcium/magnesium? I'm taking 2 caps of Enzymatic Therapy's Fatigued to Fantastic (Formerly Raw Adrenal), 2 grains Armour, about 550mg of Calcium and 300 mg of Magnesium for supplementation. Any feedback, ideas, answers, experiences? Thanks! Guest guest
If i understand your explaination of the sensation, I was having these since i started armour... it got increasingly worse, but am taking a handfull of supps... most recently added iron and calcium citrate. I havent had them since adding those 2 to my regimine. I told my hubby that it felt as if i had been shocked by major voltage and then my muscles were all weak and tingly. Guest guest
I've been A LOT more achy, too, since my increase in Armour. My whole rib cage is really sore today. See also my response to your previous post about this subject for why I'm thinking it's the Armour. Here I see that you're on Armour and did have a recent increase in dose. Janet > forgot to mention that I am also more achey in general so maybe it is just a flare- up of symptoms > Lynda
Guest guest
Janet, It's weird, I would not have put it down to the increase in armour but, yes, I did increase by a quarter grain a few days ago. I still had those electrical sensations last night and also started to feel a bit weepy again. That is why I had put it down to women's hormones because that's what usually causes the weepies. I am going to stop using the estrogen cream for a few days and see what happens, I am continuing with the extra armour though as I really do need to get my dose up.
