60 mg is a grain. You upped it by that much?

possible armour overdose?

Hello All,

Well I just wanted to post what happened to me just in case it might help

someone else. 2 mornings ago I woke up with a headache and yesterday morning I

woke up with a headache (migranish) and upset stomach....I decided to have my

coffee anyway...took a couple of sips..then seeing that it wasn't going to

take

my headache away I took 2 aspirin. 20 minutes later I was vomiting everything

up..even though I had an empty stomach. I checked my pulse which about 70

and I checked my temp which was 97.6.

I think unless it was an overnight flu bug that I overdosed on armour. You

see on Sunday 3 days earlier I upped my dose by 1 grain. I figured I would go

to

my limit and then ease back to my sweet spot. So even though I was sick I

backed off my armour to what I was taking originally. Hubby gave me one of

his

naproxin and got me out of the house so he could pick up his truck at the

mechanics. Well I felt much better by 3:00 that afternoon and today I feel

just

fine.

Just a heads up.....even though I am not sure if it was a thyroid overdose..I

wanted to see if anyone else here had experienced something similar when

raising their dose?

Hi Loriann. Sorry to hear about your bad situation yesterday!! Bet

you are glad that has passed!!

I've never heard of symptoms like that for an overdose. And your

temp did not point to an overdose. But you never know.

I think you can understand why I, and others here, recommend that

folks go up more slowly.

You take it easy. And I'm hoping that as you raise your Armour more

slowly, you'll get excellent results!! Your temp shows you need

improvement still. Keep us informed.

You know, that could mean that you weren't truly hyper from meds.

You may have had another issue, such a the low Ferritin, which

precipitated hyper-like symptoms, yet you were still hypo.

Or......you are weird. )

course, SHE!!!!! LOL LOL LOL
