Guest guest
, you are definitely not alone!! I've only known about Zander's Plagio for two weeks now and already, I find myself looking at the head of every baby I see! Their poor parents must think I'm crazy! Guest guest
, I know what you mean by checking everybody out. Almost every kid/infant I see I immediately survey their head shape. Adults I don't critique as much unless they are shaven. I was at the Verizon store yesterday and the guy in front of us in line head his head shaved. So naturally, I checked out his head! It sort of looked like his head had been pushed up a bit and not so round in the back. It was hard to know for sure though. It could have been just his family's head shape. Guest guest
No, you're not the only one, lol. Yesterday we were swimming and a friend of our SIL's brought her four little boys. One had tort when he was little and I could see that he had some resulting plagio. All of her boys have a somewhat brachy headshape (guessing part of it is in their genes), but on the older two it is very noticeable. Of course I didn't mention it to her because they are way past the age for banding. She's actually the one who thought Connor had tort (and of course he did). Guest guest
Hi. I haven't read any responses yet, but I am sure they are all saying the same thing (that is is normal) and welcoming you into the elite group of " plagio police " !!. I notice it all the time now. In fact, my friend has a 9 year old son with forehead bossing so noticeable, that it drives me crazy!! How could they not see it??????? Too late now to ever bring it up I guess. Very sad. > hi all, > i hope everyone's weekend has gone great. now...am i the only > one who finds myself diagnosing other babies and adults with plagio > and/or tort???LOL. i was sitting in church today and they were doing > announcements and such when the gentlemen in front of me moves into > my line of vision...so what do i do...i begin staring at the back of > his head!!! it is then i realize his ears are slightly misaligned!! > AND he looks to have had mild plagio!! the back of his head was > almost flat on one side and his right side(of his head) was rounder > than the left. now is this sad or WHAT??? i find myself doing this > often...anyone else obsessing over others heads??? > kelly(mom to kathryn,plagio/brachy/tort,banded 5/03, texas)
