Hi Kate,

It would be hard for us to answer that question. Even with it being an indication of cancer everyones case is different. I would call the dr before Jan.7th. Waiting is the hardest part. You are in my prayers.

Surgery Over

Hi All,I am new here, although I registered as a member about a month ago.I was diagnosed with a lump, and the docs have done a mammo andultrasound on it, every six months for the last two years. This monthtests confirmed it was getting bigger.I am 55, and was on Prempro for 11 years.I had a lumpectomy this AM, and it really was not bad. The wirelocalization was worse, and even that was not too bad. They missed thelump the first time, as they are dealing with four lumps, and only oneis suspicious.Ok, here is my question, and although I have not been diagnosed withcancer, I hope I am not out-of-line posting here. The nurse told me that they were surprised to find the lump attachedto my chest wall. I don't think she was supposed to tell me that, asthe other nurse had a weird look on her face.From what I am reading on the net, and no, I don't believe everythingI read, this is usually an indication of cancer.Can I get some honest opinions please? My results will be known onJanuary 7th, and for now I am on Vicodan, ice, and was told not to usemy arm too much for two weeks. I am sure this is pretty standard.Thanks everyone, and I think you are all strong and courageous.I hate this ugly disease. Hi, Kate. Welcome to our group...sorry you have to be here though. I

would start calling the doctor's office Monday. They usually get the

results a lot quicker than they let on....and keep calling every day

until you get answers.... The squeaky wheel get the grease! Hugs,
