Guest guest
Hey Listmates I've been GF for about 6 months and I think I'm getting the hang of it. I really enjoy reading all the emails and I'm getting lots of good ideas. Thank you. I'm trying to watch my weight while eating GF, but I miss some of my old stand-bys. Maybe you can give me some suggestions. I'm looking for a good cold breakfast cereal that is high in fiber and low in calories and gluten free. I've been eating the Envirokids cereals and while they taste good, they don't seem to "stick to my ribs". I used to be a Kashi (kind of a granola, twigs and sticks) cereal eater. Any suggestions? I'm also looking for a good bread recipe or product. I've tried several rice bread formulas and I just don't like the texture or the taste. Is there a great bread or bread recipe that looks, feels, and tastes similar to a good old fashioned loaf of wheat bread? Finally, when eating out, what do you do about salad dressings? Do you take your own or do you just use vinegar and oil? Thanks for the information. I'll summarize. Donna in Littleton Colorado
Guest guest
Thank you to all the people who helped answer my questions regarding favorite breakfast cereals, favorite breads, and favorite salad dressings. I am overwhelmed at the responses and I'm going to have to sort through them. You gave me some great ideas and I'm going to have to dust off my oven (I hate to cook) and try some of the bread recipes. I had given up on eating bread completely, but I'm willing to give it another shot.
