Guest guest
My sister had blood tests recently. TSH-0.093 (1.80--5.000) FT3-2.94 (1.80--4.20) they did'nt do the FT4,imagine that!! Anyway,I need to tell her how to get her FT3 in the upper range, can't remember and I lost all my thyroid stuff I had saved when my hardrive crashed and died. Thank's everyone.Love ya Shirl
Guest guest
Hi Shirl! Actually, I am not seeing that your sister is very hypo by her labs. Does she have symptoms, and what are they?? A person who does not have thyroid disease can have an fT3 where your sister's is and be wonderful. For those of us who do have a diseased or poorly-functioning thyroid, getting the fT3 towards the upper part of the range is where we eliminate symptoms. I'll wait to hear about her symptoms. Guest guest
Ah!! Those are her labs on Armour!! Now that's different. Generally, a person doesn't eradicate all hypo symptoms until they happen to also get that fT3 towards the top, it appears. There may be some who are different. Her TSH is already so low that she'll have a very suppressed TSH if she tries to get her fT3 up there, and she'll need a very open-minded doc! ) Or she may do what so many folks on this forum do----self-treat. Let us know if she feels ok where she is (if you can get those teeth pulled--haha), or if she still have some lingering symptoms....
