Guest guest
Hi Derrick, Thanks so much for your message. I must say though that it is not so encouraging to hear that insomnia can be prevalent the last couple of years before dialysis. I am expected to last a couple more years, so perhaps I should just get used to this. I am very grateful for those nights I do sleep well, let me tell you! It does leave me so tired most of the time. I have a hard time evenings, and like , I do fall asleep for a few hours, but I also wake up around 2 or 3, and sometimes I can sleep a little more around 5-7, but that is after being up for a few hours. It is frustrating. Thanks for the tip on Phenergan and it not making you groggy the next day. I shall give that a try! I wonder how many others who have reached ESRD have had the same experience with trouble sleeping the last couple of years. It sounds like such a nasty flu bug in Australia. Do you take the flu shot every year? I get mine every October, but sometimes I still get sick with it. I do know that having the flu like that when you already have a chronic illness definitely can be discouraging. I do hope you are feeling better and stronger each day. Guest guest
, Just about recovered from the " Flu " if that is what it was, after 10 days. Yes I do take the flu and pnemonia shot when they are due with monotonous regularity but this must have been a strain not covered. It left me feeling quite depressed, but I seem to have recovered quite well so it's history now. Derrick Sydney Australia > Hi Derrick, > > Thanks so much for your message.
