Guest guest
$6.25 is the price for thirty 60mg (1 grain) tablets. It's from my local independently owned pharmacist. I don't know where you are from, but if it's England, it may be higher b/c of shipping. It's manufactured in the US. Debbie K. Debbie / Re: Cost of Armour Hi Debbbie, Where are you that the price is so low? Do you order it, is that with insurance? And what dosage is that? It is great you can get it so cheap! Guest guest
My foggy brain may not be communicationg clearly. It was the generic that was $2.90. The real thing is $6.25 (thirty 60mg tablets). Please forgive. Debbie K. Debbie / Re: Cost of Armour Hi Debbbie, Where are you that the price is so low? Do you order it, is that with insurance? Guest guest
Yes, I take one 60mg (1 grain) per day. If you do the math, $25/105*60 (60 of your tablets being equal to 30 of mine) You come up with $14.29. But since you have twice the pills, your's should cost more b/c of labor, packaging, etc. So you may not be all that much off. Last night as I was dozing off, I happened to think. People drive for miles to go to this pharmacy. I never compared prices much b/c we have insurance that pays 80%, but I have seen people I know in there from neighboring towns. One day someone ahead of me was from Georgia, an one hour drive from here. A lot of Gerogian's come to Dothan to go to doctors, but this drug store is 30 to 60 minutes out of their way, depending on which way they go home and which part of Dothan they are comming from. I will ask my pharmacist for a price on sixty 30mg's if you like, but I have a busy day today and it may be tomorrow before I can get a round to it. Anybody got a round tuit? I could sure use one as it's tax season on the farm...... Blessings, Debbie K. Debbie / Re: Cost of Armour Debbie, I am going to have to look around. I paid $25, maybe a couple dollars more for 105 tabs, 30 mg each. And that is with a neighborhood pharmacy. I am trying to use up the first prescription before getting the newer one filled with a higher dosage. Although you had 1/3 the tabs, it was twice the dosage.....hmmmmmm I am in NC so it should be comparable. So you are taking 1 grain per day? Thanks for the info, Kat > > Awhile back, I mentioned I was paying $2.90 for thirty 60mg Armour > > tablets.
