Guest guest Posted February 20, 2003 Report Share Posted February 20, 2003 I remember walking through the warehouse and looking down the dark alleys between stacks of tires and just fantasizing about crawling down in there and going to sleep! athan We have a mezzanine that houses all our old files. I would go up there, dust off the chair and nap for a bit. Never got caught but one time I fell asleep for 2 hours. I came back down and as soon as I entered the office my boss was headed the other way to the warehouse. " Where have you been? " . Luckily it was around lunch and said at lunch then out back to follow up on an order. Never said anything but to be safe I started wearing a digital watch w/alarm. Also, as you may have heard, the traffic in Houston is atrocious - if not equal to LA or San Fran, then darn close. I fell asleep more times than I can count inching my way to work.
