Janet,

sniff, sniff...That wasn't on Texas Group.. that was on The Thyroid

Support Group, me and 's group.....

Jamy and I have fun teasing.... For some it's such a trivial thing, the

leg hairs... but I'm dead serious when I say that each and every one is a

badge representing my journey back to ME.....

Now I have the new hairs growing in on my head.. all the spots that had

thinned that I thought was just genetics (baldness on BOTH sides of the

family increases the likelihood of thinning and balding in females) are

growing back in... MUCH lighter than the hair on the rest of my head. I

may, just may, be going back to blonde. My hair seems lighter, is

definitely shinier.. it's just a matter of being patient to see what

happens as it continues to grow... I love periwinkle blue.. I would like

to paint some of my computer equipment that color! hehehehe

I'm afraid of love... I'm afraid of feeling it again and having it ripped

from me again... and I'm afraid of never feeling it again and facing the

rest of my life without it. It's something that I'm just trying to work

through....

Laughter. Isn't it awesome?? To see something, or read something, or hear

something and just start to giggling.... Someone that has never lost the

ability to do that will never understand what it's like to not be able to

laugh.... And then to have laughter come back into your life... it's

like being hi.. in a GOOD way.

If I can't find things that are funny... sometimes I'll just conjure

something up on my own so that I can LAUGH OUT LOUD anyway!!!

hehehehehehhe

Now, can anyone tell me how to do braids on the back sides of my

legs??????

Not just thyroid meds, Janie, but adrenal supplements.. and all around

better supplements and eating habits.... It's just amazing what starts

working the way it should when your body has what it needs to function as

it should...

No one should ever ever ever settle for doc, or anyone else, telling you

to 'just deal with it' or 'it's not that bad' or 'it's all in your head'

If you KNOW that there is something that is not right.. Keep at it until

you find out what is wrong and what to do about it...

I went for years with no period and never got checked... I was hyper all

those years and never went in..... then when I stormed I let the doc tell

me there was nothing wrong and went home.. there was stuff wrong... in my

twenties and no periods? Eating non stop and losing weight so much that

your boss starts ordering you new uniforms????

Listen to your bodies gang, if they are telling you to get stuff fixed...

don't let anyone tell you it's in your head... find someone that will

help you - and if the someone ends up being YOU... then by golly do it on

your own... Please. Don't let yourself slip away...

oh, my... sheepishly climbing off my soap box.... I went for quite a

while without any oratories.... I tried!!!
