Re: Flagyl We took Flagyl for 30 days and had amazing improvements for 30 days, then the clostridia came back. We did it again for 30 days, again, great improvements, and came back in a week. We did in conjunction with Nystatin all times and

my son never has yeast in urine or stool tests. Just finished a 90 day round with 2 VSL #3 DS packets (still doing those) and still signs of bacteria--just mailed in a poop test yesterday but Dr R thinks that it is another bacteria that Flagyl doesnt kill that takes the opportunity to grow while we suppress clostridia and yeast...so there's a thought. Also, Dr R mentioned about clostridia that we may have to do 1 week on/3 weeks off, or come to some way to manage it and that even when its under control he may still spend a month twice a year on something to kill it. > > I was wondering if anyone else's child behaved very normal on Flagyl. The benefits were gone a few days after we stopped taking it. Can flagyl be taken weekly or is

there something similar that acts as flagyl does? Thanks. >
