Guest guest
Did you take your thyroid pill the morning before the test? It looks a tad high maybe, but without seeing the freet3, it is hard to say. my results! Hi guys... official results: TSH 0.018 (0.099 - 5.5) FREE T4 1.9 (0.9 - 1.8) So TSH is low, Free T4 is high...they did not test Free T3. The doc says this is hyperthyroid and not pituitary. Any advice? Leila Armush Work: larmush@... " History is not kind to those who try to rush it. I am the new girl who never had a history of problems who thought I may have problems. I was taking a very VERY small amount of Raw Adrenal... that's all. could that have done anything? I have to get the tests again anyway in a couple weeks. Thanks. Leila Armush Work: larmush@... " History is not kind to those who try to rush it. Guest guest
No Leila, I don't think the adrenal support would have caused that low of an amount of TSH. Is your doc going to get the anti-body test done on you for Grave's?? All your symptoms are related to the thyroid working too well. Once you get on some meds, you will feel much better - like a new girl! I was reading about a lady with hyperthyroidism and she feels great now! I bet that some of your stomach sensitivites etc.. will go away too . The lady on the website said she was sensitive to different meds etc... I hope you feel a small sense of relief. I know I did when they found out the root of my problem. It was a bitter sweet feeling: good because I knew I was no longer crazy and sad because I didn't want to have a lifelong illness. Off the topic a tad, I just had a memory (believe me, when they come, I blurt them out before I forget again lol). About a year ago when my daughter was 6-7 months old, I told my husband to take my then 2 year old and the baby to Grammie's (2 doors down) because I was soooo tired and HAD to nap. My husband's dad was like, " What the heck is she napping for in the day " ? My husband explained that taking care of two small ones all week long is exhausting and he was giving me a much needed break. My mother-in-law piped up and said, " But that is her job as a stay-at-home mom. You shouldn't have to feel obligated to give her breaks. You work all week long too " . That really upset me. I was so tired and exhausted all the time. I wasn't sleeping (probably my adrenals). I just felt like no one had compassion except my husband (thank GOD for him). My mother-in-law even has a thyroid problem and didn't even think to tell me that I should have mine checked. It was my thyroid pooping out all along. I was more tired than the average mom. When not napping, I was running around cleaning, fixing the house, painting, decorating, doing an ebay business, because I desperately tried to appear busy and not LAZY. ANyway, I do hope you get to feeling better so that you can feel alive again and have your family and friends trust your judgement in the future. And your nurse for that matter. Good luck Leila!!!!!!! > >Did you take your thyroid pill the morning before the test? It looks a tad > >high maybe, but without seeing the freet3, it is hard to say. > > I do not ever take thyroid. Guest guest
Raw adrenal wouldn't effect things that way. You are not very elevated. Your symptoms do not match with what you have so far unless you have Hashimotos. Have they checked your antibodies? You could be in the hyper swing of Hashi. my results! > > > Hi guys... official results: > > TSH 0.018 (0.099 - 5.5) > FREE T4 1.9 (0.9 - 1.8) > > So TSH is low, Free T4 is high...they did not test Free T3. > The doc says this is hyperthyroid and not pituitary. > > Any advice? > > Leila Armush > Work: larmush@... > " History is not kind to those who try to rush it.
