Guest guest
Hi , It did take some time , we started the diet in July , I want to say approx 4 months to really get rid of the yeast and bad bacteria , but it was so worth it for us , but every child is different, so I can't really give you a time frame. we saw big positive changes all along the way . We did the diet very strict with no honey or fruit for a few months but you have to be careful and to make sure that your child will eat enough vegetables to keep up with the carb amount , and now my children are doing fine with the fruits , I still limit them , We do some nut butters , I usually make my own , no nut flours, no eggs, some meat mainly fish , and a lot of veggies raw and cooked ,avocados, coconut oil, and olive oil . My kids are so happy now , And my asd daughter is so cute , she is becoming more typical everyday. Today at school she was playing tricks on other kids by touching them and saying that she didn't do it , that doesn't sound like autism to me , before she could have cared less about playing with other children , also she had to write something that bugs her , and she said It bugs me when my sister Amberly comes in my room , and I also don't like it when Dillon takes my stuff. how cute is that , My day has been made for the day and the year , Wow what a difference the old was so lost in her own world for so long . so believe me it does get better. Hang in there , Angie
